Children's Hospice Arts are proud to announce the " ICONS OF ROCK" Guitar. We will be asking many "icons of rock" to sign this guitar and once full we will be auctioning this "one of a kind" piece so we are able to help many more children, young people and their families . Marco Mendoza, Ron Bumblefoot Thal & Michael Devin to name but a few have already agreed to sign.

The demand was higher than we'd anticipated and we only have a few T-shirts left so we are currently working on producing an even wider range of Ladybird Elise items. Our little mascot will be back in our eBay shop after Easter

Brilliant News – Harry Potter has worked his magic for chART! The signed JK Rowling book that was kindly donated to the charity went to specialist auction and has made £1030!! We are delighted!
On the 16th February 2012 Carol Bromley attended a really productive meeting at St.Oswald's in Newcastle with Jackie,the Head of Children's Services and Lynne,Transition Project Leader. We discussed how chART could best help the 16-25 year old group as we already work for the younger children.Thanks so much to everyone for making us feel so welcome. It is a real privilege to work with the hospice.The chART team and St.Oswald's management are very excited to be working together and we are delighted to say that over the next few months we are funding a family fun day for all age groups in June; live music and theatrical events, special days out, helping to design family rooms and the garden, supplying art and craft boxes with materials and a Special Ideas book devised by our team of qualified artists and designers,providing DVDs, helping with art and craft sessions and creating wall art featuring the kid's framed paintings .We will be sure to keep you updated on these projects as they happen and thank all of our supporters for their continued generosity in enabling us to help the young people and their families. The funds raised from the Harry Potter book will fund the family fun day and other projects at St Oswalds.

The chART trustees are deeply touched by the generosity of Marta Sorensen and her family, who have pledged the proceeds from a stunning and valuable private collection to the charity in memory of Marta's sister and our dear friend,Astrid.The family have Russian and French ancestry- in April will be selling a Faberge pendant, Tiffany brooch and earrings and vintage dresses from Dior.chART will be able to help so many children with the funds raised from this unique and very special sale. We will keep you updated on how much is raised and how we will be allocating funds, in due course.The family have endured more heartache over the past few years than anyone should have to go through, yet always find time to care for others. Marta,Elena,Peter,Mari,Alex and the whole family,we thank you from the bottom of our hearts for this wonderful gift. XXX
We are very grateful to Venture Studios in Leeds for donating a Family Portrait Voucher valued at £315 .chART have donated this to Martin House Children's Hospice in Wetherby.These are often extremely precious lasting gifts for the families of children with life-limiting conditions.
We are currently donating chART gift bags to hospices, packed with art and crafts toys, books, films, CDs and small musical instruments, plus family tickets for the theatre, cinema and live music events.
We are also organising children's entertainers to go into hospices as treats for the children and their families.
